A great nearby beach that can be reached in a 20-minute car drive from here is Praia da Ursa. You can also hike here from Cabo da Roca beach, and it's perfect to spend the whole day or just the afternoon. Since you'll be facing west, you can also enjoy a gorgeous sunset, as the view cannot get any better. If you're planning to walk to the beach, it's better to go with comfortable shoes given that the terrain is slippery and steep, and you'll be on foot for 20 minutes. Usually, very few people actually go down, so you can basically have the beach and its peace to yourself. Also, since this is in the Atlantic Ocean, be prepared for colder water and a windier atmosphere.
