Uluwatu is most well-known for its surfing spots, and surfers from all over the world come to visit. Do keep in mind that the waves in Uluwatu are big and most surf spots are suitable only for advanced or expert surfers. Aside from the surf, Uluwatu is also rich in culture - the Uluwatu Temple is perched atop a limestone cliff and is definitely a must-see. Uluwatu’s limestone cliffs also make for some amazing formations and views.
