If you're a history enthusiast, take a five-minute drive to Glasnevin Cemetery. The cemetery houses the graves of various significant Irish people, such as Kevin Barry, who was hanged on November 1, 1920, in Mountjoy Prison. Barry was 18 years old when he was arrested for his part in a raid in which three British soldiers were killed. His body, along with the 'Forgotten Ten' were reinterred in Glasnevin Cemetery after an 80-year campaign by his family. The song Kevin Barry has been sung by figures such as Leonard Cohen and Paul Robeson.
