Tiracole is a beautiful area, and there is an old fort here that I highly recommend exploring. I visited the Tiracole Fort with my parents during our weekend trip here. The fort has a deep history connected to the Goan Liberation Movement. It was annexed by the Portuguese and served as a prison for Goan freedom fighters. We also tried snacks in the rooftop restaurant of the fort. My favorite was the Caldo Verde Soup and Spinach and Quinoa Salad, both vegetarian-friendly. Besides the food, I enjoyed the view of the ocean and surrounding islands the most.
