The place of deer
Mazatlan is a word derived from the Uto-Aztecan language family, the Nahuatl, which means “place of deer”. This once busy seaport is now one of the main locations for vacationers on Mexico’s western coast. Its tropical location and world-class amenities are some of the best for travelers. Putting Mazatlan on your list of must-sees in Mexico is an easy decision that won’t leave you disappointed.
