If you are planning to visit Sisiman Bay, please make sure to grab some sunscreen, because the sun is kind of hotter in this area. This place is perfect for people who want to enjoy the beach and nature scenery. As a local, I would say the best time to visit Sisiman Bay is during sunset, because the weather is kind of warm, and the view will give you so much peace. Also, if you will be staying here for a longer time, you can bring water and snacks, and if you are wondering if there is a place to stay, there are some small nipa huts where you can rent and stay for a bit. You can also bring your car, and there are some parking spaces available in the area.

This is one of the iconic resorts here in Bataan. A one-stop heritage property where you can enjoy the rich history of the past and different activities. You have some options regarding how to visit this place. You can book a room, and you can also enjoy their day tour package. When we visited this place, we contacted the resort and availed their day-tour package, which includes a Calesa ride, Balsa Ride, Set Lunch, Hotel de Oriente Viewing, Walking Heritage Tour, and Beach Access. Just a tip, make sure to have your sunscreen and water with you to protect your skin and stay hydrated. The place is big, and you can take a lot of photos. The beach has fine sand, and there are small nipa huts where you can stay by the beach.

My family and I actually stayed here 8 years ago in the year 2015, but the memories are still alive. We booked one of the rooms in the Duyan House. It is a room good for 5 people, and we had our own terrace. This place is perfect for couples and families, since there are a lot of Instagrammable spots where you can take pictures and have a dip in their infinity pool.  After we visited this place, it has been developed through the years, and they now provide recreational activities for their guests, such as sky bridge, sky bike, sky swing, and sky zip. You can also visit their newest coffee shop and try their new swimming pools.

I've been to this place several times now, and it is always worth visiting. Mount Samat is famous for its large memorial cross, but not just that. They also have a museum under the cross where you can discover the history of World War II. We have this annual activity in Mount Samat, which we call the "Diocesan Mount Samat Pilgrimage," which happens during the first Sunday of Advent. Everyone is encouraged to walk from the base up to the peak of the mountain. It is tiring, but it is always worth it. Also, when visiting Mount Samat, make sure to bring your own water, because even if you drive from the base, you will need to climb on stairs to reach the memorial cross. This is actually a famous landmark in Bataan, so if it's your first trip here, it is a must to visit this place.

I've tried several heritage tours in Las Casas, such as their Balsa Ride, where you'll ride a boat and visit some of the houses that are located by the water. They also have a Kalesa Ride where you'll get around the place. Also, their walking heritage tours are available at a specific time slot (8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM). The walking heritage tour is a bit tiring, but it's kind of worth it. I recommend having your walking tour at 4:30 PM, so after the tour, you'll say hello to the beautiful sunset. All the houses here in Las Casas have different stories to tell, and the looks are aesthetically pleasing, but in a traditional way. There are a lot of old items and traditional practices of the past that you will discover in this place.

I could truly say that Mt. Samat is one of the famous landmarks of Bataan. It is worth visiting, especially if it's your first time driving around Bataan. If you are planning to visit the famous beaches within the area, you could actually stop by here, because it is just near the resorts in Bagac and Morong. Mt. Samat is full of history, and here, you can learn to appreciate the happenings of the past.

Simizu Island is one of the lunch spots in El Nido tour packages. When we had our tour, this was the place where we ate and enjoyed the white sand beach and marvelous rock formations. If you plan to go here, you can bring some cash and buy fresh buco juice and some snacks that you will be needing for the tour. By the way, bringing your own distilled water is one of the essentials for a tour in Palawan.

A landscape shot of Dilumacad Island

This is one of the unique islands in El Nido because of its helicopter shape. On this island, you can enjoy snorkeling and taking some Instagrammable pictures, since there is a big white sand beach within this area. When we got here, the sun was shinning really bright, so I recommend you bring your sunscreen to protect your skin. You may also bring cash, because there are some locals here who sell ice cream while riding a kayak. It's a bit pricey, but it may help to lessen the hotness of your body.

A photo of me wearing the traditional garment These are the cactus that can be found in Botanical Garden Me and my friend while riding a Gokart
Baguio ×

These are the most visited parks in Baguio City. Whenever we visit Baguio, our first stop is the Botanical Garden, followed by Burnham Park, and Mines View Park. I suggest that you visit the Botanical Garden early in the morning, so that you can feel the coldness of the weather and sip some fresh air. You could also take a lot of pictures in this area. In Burnham Park, there are a lot of activities available such as go-kart, bikes, and boat riding. Lastly, for Mines View Park, there are several locals who sell plants and some souvenirs. You could also rent a Bahag (a traditional garment in the Philippines), which you can wear and take some pictures of. This is the best place if you want to see Baguio from afar - you can catch a great view.

If you want to experience a Barbie or Candy kind of vibe place, you should visit "The Dessert Museum". The price starts at PHP699. It's just a bit pricey, however, it is worthwhile. I actually visited the place twice, so I could say it is worth your money, especially when it is your birth month, because you just need to bring one paying individual and your entrance will be free.

Some of the things that you could see in the area are a variety of candy-themed rooms, which you can enjoy because at every station there is a freebie dessert that you could eat while exploring the place. Make sure to prepare your phone or camera storage, because you'll definitely take a lot of photos. Be in your best outfit when you visit this museum.

A photo of what we eat in Fresh restaurant A snap of our room A photo of Solaire's main entrance
Manila ×

This is one of the most visited resorts and casinos in the Entertainment City, located in Paranaque. It is just 18 minutes away from the airport. You can book a stay at their hotel, eat at some of their buffet restaurants like "Fresh", or place a bet in their casino. Solaire offers a luxurious kind of vibe to their guests. This is just not a hotel or a casino, they also have luxury shops that you can shop from such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, and more.

Their hotel provides an excellent array of amenities and services. When we stayed in their Deluxe Room, it had complete amenities such as a cabled television, free internet access, a work desk, free water and coffee, toiletries, and a bathtub. You can also enjoy the pool access. I recommend this place if you want to experience a luxurious stay.

Manila ×

You'll just be five minutes away from Mall of Asia by car, so make sure to attend a concert in the arena if you haven't already. I can say that MOA Arena is one of the most accessible concert venues in the Philippines. It is clean, air-conditioned, and has several shops inside the premises. Outside foods are not allowed inside. So better to eat outside before entering the venue because the food inside is a bit pricey. I visited the place four times to watch volleyball and basketball games. I suggest that you should bring jackets if you are not into low-temperature venues because it's kind of cold inside but it is bearable if it's a bit crowded. I've also tried their premier suites it is located after the lower box section of the arena and have their own entrance, lounge, and restroom and also limited seats with headrests compared to the regular seats you can also order your food and be delivered to the suite.

This place is just less than 15 minutes away from the airport. This is one of the accessible markets in the Philippines since it has a Light Rail Transit station, and most of the jeepneys start and end here. So you will not get lost if you want to visit Baclaran. Just a tip make sure to wear your most comfortable clothes, don't bring too many belongings or cash, and be mindful of your surroundings. You can also visit and attend the mass at the famous Baclaran Church the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
