Forte Dei Marmi, or the Marble Fort, is the location to see and be seen. This upscale resort town is a shopper’s paradise. You will find all of your favorite Italian designers have a showroom here. You will also find a number of great locations to enjoy a day lounging in the sun. You should note that “bagno”, as the different beaches are named, translates to “bathroom”. But don’t worry, you will find more than just a restroom at all of these fashionable beaches. Most of them do charge a fee, but there are two free beach areas further away from the center of town.
